Job Description


Minimum Requirements

  • Food Science or Food Technology Degree
  • Coming from a Nutrition background
  • At least 4 years experience in a Pharmaceutical, Health or Food and Beverage industry
  • Experience in B2B or B2C
  • Technical understanding of Botanical products in final applications
  • R&D experience on the formulation of Botanical Extracts-related applications
  • Willing to travel internationally
  • Experience with SAP
  • Nutritional knowledge and understanding
  • Market- and Product understanding of the Health and LS&N Industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a vibrant, innovative and economically sustainable B2B product portfolio with a corresponding portfolio strategy and clear positioning (USP) for the product group in area of responsibility based on the global business unit strategy
  • Create a balanced global B2B product portfolio
  • Train & support regional PMs
  • Price discussions with Pricing
  • New Product Development with Exchange of R&D and Supply chain
  • Market Research
  • Work together with Supply Chain and Botanical Associations to get new Botanical Extracts Products regulatory-wise correct on the market
  • Support customers with their queries
  • Scientific Research on Botanical actives and characteristics
  • Analyze market and competition concerning ingredients and concepts relevant to specific product groups and adjust product portfolio accordingly
  • Promote products as single ingredient or final solution at customers
  • Ensure continuous margin management for the products in area of responsibility
  • Ensure an up to date product portfolio Assortment
  • Develop, steer & track B2B growth initiatives
  • Manage global supply network for product group to meet global demand most efficient
  • Compile product information (legal, etc.) and keep it updated
  • Manage selected target accounts and customer projects, including negotiations and relationship management in consultation with Sales
  • Support customer visits/presentations, trade shows
  • Work closely together with Application to ensure an efficient and profitable B2B portfolio; recommend products suitable for different area assortments.
  • Support Sales and Regions with a strong positioning, materials, negotiations and relationship management with customers.
  • Regularly exchange with Market Segments (global & regional) to ensure customer relevant product propositions, understanding of market trends and ensuring optimal customer and trade fair appearances.
  • Monitor volume, gross sales, gross margin and contribution margin development as well as sales activities of the products in the field of responsibility
  • Forecast and budgeting of Sales
