Is this you? You're a strategic thinker with an eye for market trends and a knack for transforming product insights into action. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, balancing technical depth with commercial awareness. Equally comfortable leading product initiatives and collaborating across teams, you're both analytical and intuitive, detail-oriented and visionary. You value relationships, communication, and bringing structure to complexity - all while keeping the customer at the heart of your decision-making.
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll oversee the full lifecycle of a product portfolio within the Instruments, Tools & Identification division. From defining vision and roadmap, to managing sourcing, pricing, positioning, and promotions, you'll drive product success in alignment with strategic goals. You'll offer technical support and training, liaise with global counterparts, and ensure digital tools and data support effective decision-making. Your role also includes competitor analysis, supplier engagement (including visits), and leading improvements across product admin, repairs, and calibration processes. This is a varied and hands-on role with broad influence across the business.
Where you'll be doing it You'll be part of a well-established, multinational manufacturer and supplier in the electrical and industrial space. Known for its innovative products and global reach, the organisation promotes a collaborative, solutions-driven culture. With strong ties to technical and industrial communities, it offers a platform where you can make an impact while growing your leadership potential.
What you'll need You have a relevant NQF Level 7 qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Sales & Marketing. A postgrad qualification in Project or Procurement Management would be a bonus. You bring at least 5 years' experience in a similar product management role, ideally in a technical or industrial environment. You're confident with MS Office, well-versed in market segmentation, and able to travel locally and internationally.
