Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Product Manager - Engine Additives & Fuel Additives will be accountable for driving business for Engine Additives and Fuel Additives in the Sub-Saharan Africa region in accordance with product strategy by respective regional product line managers.

Job Responsibilities include:

Execute business strategies for Engine and Fuel Additives to sustainably deliver strong results in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Manage product portfolio, life cycle of products, price, and margin management of the defined product segment to maximize growth and financial performance in the region. Ensures alignment with Sales, and respective product line manager on strategy and tactics to successfully implement the business plan in pursuit of growth targets. Liaise with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure supplies of products are in line with demand. Partner with Marketing to identify growth opportunities, and market trends and to plan and deliver appropriate market messaging and product positioning to the customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/mechanical engineering, or related field Masters/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management would be added advantage. Must have minimum 5 years of experience in the lubricant, chemical or related industry. Experience in customer facing role. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and to participate in global discussions (evening meetings) Excellent Communication & Presentation skills.
