WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The

Product Development Technician Intern

will receive exposure in the design and fabrication of prototype systems. The key focus will be on the assembly of designs, concept design fabrication methods (3D printing, laser cutting) and product testing and writing technical documentation.

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:

Support engineering and technicians in assembling of hardware. Support data collection and analysis for system improvement. Generate technical data packs. Components procurement and collection. Follow safety guidelines and procedures when working with electrical and mechanical systems. Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/ Quality/ Environmental/ Energy. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
National Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent qualification. Good knowledge & understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills. Be available for standby duties and overtime when and as needed. Must be able to work under pressure. * Excellent communication and organising skills.
