Grade: ELLocation: Cape TownPurpose of the JobLead and manage the development and enhancement of Procurement systems through alignment with IT department and Procurement Heads in terms of identifying technology needs to ensure availability of best in class procurement systems and tools.What you'll be doing:

• Accountable to co-ordinate the development of procurement systems and tools to deliver on our strategy through implementation of systems that enables simplification of processes, automation and reporting as well as facilitate change management across the relevant stakeholders to ensure availability of best in class procurement systems and tools.
• Perform the role of SAP systems co-ordinator for all procure to pay system enhancements through facilitating system changes and performing required user acceptance testing to ensure the procurement systems is functioning as per design/ development and requirements.
• Perform the role of sub-process owner for the procure to pay process through supporting the procurement internal processes to ensure delivery of business needs.
• Monitor and implement the system release strategies through managing and maintaining limits of authority in the SAP system to ensure line managers adherence to Procurement LOA's.
• Manage the necessary security measures by applying required system controls in SAP systems including access controls to ensure system integrity and restrictions.
• Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.

What you'll have done before:Minimum

• 5 years of Procurement systems experience;
• NQF Level 7 (Degree in IT/BCom or any related)
• Proficient in SAP MM Module;
• Proficient in COUPA
• Knowledge of Procurement processes.

Advantageous

• Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Understanding of other SAP modules
