How You Create Impact

• Placing of orders for both instrumentation and implants.
• Following up on back orders and order confirmations.
• Providing feedback regarding outstanding instrumentation and implant orders and expected delivery dates.
• Receipting of products ordered into the system.
• Following up on shipments, clearances (IFDxe2x80x99s), and provide relevant documentation in terms of imports and exports.
• Review all shipping documentation for accuracy
• Liaise with forwarders and clearing agents to facilitate the release and delivery of shipments
• Ensure all Customs and Trade Compliance requirements are met.
• Maintaining Item Master Data in ERP system.

• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements and set in place required systems and processes (SOPxe2x80x99s)
• To work under pressure to consistently meet customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels (Safety stocks and E&O) together with Inventory manager dept

Other responsibilities

• Ensure good housekeeping at all times
• Comply with health and safety standards
• Comply with all SOPxe2x80x99s and Works Instructions
• Need to work overtime and shifts as and when required
• Work nightshift and weekends

What Will Make You Stand Out

• A business or relevant degree or other business related educational qualification in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
• 5+ years of proven working experience in materials planning environment in an orthopaedic/medical environment preferred, with a track record of success.

• Experience working with contaminated materials (desirable)
• Exposure to the medical device industry (desirable)
• Extensive experience with SAP

What Will Make You Successful

• Experience in and exposure to import and export processes and documentation
• An understanding of profit and loss and factors that have an impact on its performance.
• Proficient in standard logistics / ERP software, experience in SAP will be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, to prioritize and meets deadlines
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
