YOU ARE:
A Supply Chain and Operations professional who helps clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and/or fulfilment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chains. You use your data skills to develop and implement strategies that improve the entire supply chain process by applying cost efficiency, increasing business effectiveness, and creating synergies and collaboration across companies. Youxe2x80x99ve also got the communication skills to make sure that everyone understands your ideas and how to get them working as quickly as possible. Your experience means that people look to you for guidance and ideas. And you know how to make sure teams get their work done on time, every time.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
Have commercial acumen and a drive to bring synergies, efficiency and effectiveness to the management of our clients spend in specific categories.
You will be comfortable leading conversations with C-suite e.g., CEO, CFO and CPO and other senior executives.
You could be required to support additional sourcing work, including management of a team delivering sourcing work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Ownership
Develop strategy and value proposition for your relevant categories of spend within the Procurement framework with data at the heart of everything you do
Design and implement value led initiatives across multiple sub-categories and the Accenture Operations Procurement customer base with an outcome led approach
Drive and develop category-specific insights and analytic products
Strive to become a thought leader in your subcategories by proactive engagement in the market
Identify value/productivity improvement opportunities in subcategories across multiple clients
Strategic Sourcing
Lead strategic sourcing projects, including all key steps such as stakeholder engagement, strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, supplier contract execution, and supplier relationship management
Drive and support deep market intelligence into the initiatives that you lead driving both efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with global teams to execute the projects in the most efficient manner
Develop senior level stakeholder relationships on client accounts and build and develop key client stakeholder relationships
Negotiate commercials with supplier and incorporate best practice metrics (May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement)
Overall
Engage with Clients senior management team members to drive and communicate progress on your initiatives.
Develop and share recommendations with clients to Identify and recommend process improvement based on operational insights, industry and/or domain knowledge and/or analytics
Provide insights to clients that reduce costs or generate revenue
Deliver domain skills to support adoption of additional processes of clients
Work within and outside documented processes and apply appropriate judgment-based services that deliver client value to the supply chain/ procurement processes
Provide functional expertise for key processes, products and solutions
Plan and forecast material requirements
Education, Competencies and experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives
A Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree

Customer Interaction Handling xe2x80x93 Expert
Global Strategic Sourcing - Expert
Operational Excellence - Expert
Procurement Strategy and Planning - Advanced

You have a deep specialization in one or more of the following: procurement or 3rd party cost takeout initiatives; forecasting, supply chain planning, and inventory optimization; manufacturing production experience in either continuous or discrete manufacturing environments, Oil and Gas industry experience
You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs, and demonstrating leadership
Youxe2x80x99ve earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
You have a functional-level understanding of technology solutions
Lean or Six Sigma qualifications
You can use the latest data analytics tools to spot opportunities for improvement
Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
