A company known for its expertise in processing and marketing a wide range of ethically sourced and sustainable FMCG products needs to appoint a Procurement Officer to buy goods and services in support of the operation activities in the Western Cape.

In this job, youxe2x80x99ll work closely with maintenance to help decide which maintenance work to order for. That means youxe2x80x99ll need to understand and compare technical quotes and negotiate over prices based on those quotes and the work being done. Youxe2x80x99ll also need to make sure everyone sticks to the agreed terms and deal with any penalties. Plus, youxe2x80x99ll keep an eye on how much money is being spent and find ways to get the best quality work without going over budget. Youxe2x80x99ll select suppliers that fit the companyxe2x80x99s goals, chase down any orders that havenxe2x80x99t arrived, and handle any questions about accounts.

The perfect fit for this job should have a degree or diploma in Purchasing Management, and it would be a bonus if they have some technical know-how. Does this sound like you?
