Procurement Manager
Job Description
Bull & Bush meat merchants is looking for a full time Procurement Manager.
Must be available within the next 2-3 weeks. The shorter the notice period required, the better.
Job Role & Requirements:
2-5 years stock control, procurement or meat industry experience.
Must be able to carry crates and boxes 20kg+- on average and be able to transfer stock between 2 units throughout the day.
Must be able to work under pressure and execute tasks as instructed. Must be able to see tasks through to completion.
Must have a strong level of persuasion skills or the ability to persuade suppliers to reduce costs on raw materials.
Must have a strong computer literacy and excel proficiency.
Must have a strong ability to control stock movement and stock counts accurately and possess the ability to pick up stock count errors, miscounts and irregularities.
Must be willing to work longer hours and start work by 06:00. 10-12 hour days if required.
Must be able to effectively use the required software to place purchase orders and compile stock reports and view sales history on products.
Must be able to receive stock from suppliers and GRV the stock in accurately and timeously.
Must be reliable and trustworthy.
Must ideally stay in a location close to Sandton.

Pay: R12000,00 - R20000,00 per month
