Procurement Coordinator job vacancy in Wellington.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the sourcing and procurement of crop protection and agricultural input products.
Support in developing and implementing effective commodity procurement strategies across multiple regions.
Coordinate logistics and stock management processes to ensure efficient product flow.
Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to optimise value and reliability.
Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control.
Support the Procurement Manager in reporting, budgeting, and data analysis
Requirements:
Diploma in Procurement, Inventory Control, Logistics Management, or a similar field OR Senior Certificate with a minimum of three years' relevant procurement experience.
3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory control, or logistics.
Exposure to the agriculture or crop protection industry will be highly advantageous.
Strong background in supplier negotiations, forecasting, and operational coordination.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Excellent organisational and planning ability.
Analytical mindset with solid financial acumen.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
