Job Description

Mammoth Technologies is looking for a Procurement Administrator to assist with the Stores Department at our Witbank Branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role supports the procurement department by handling administrative tasks, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities



Manage End-To-End Procurement Process:

Process procurement requests from internal departments. Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services

Supplier Relationship Management:

Maintain regular communication with suppliers, ensuring that any issues regarding quality, pricing, or delivery are addressed quickly and effectively

Maintain Accurate Procurement Documentation:

Maintain an organised and up-to-date procurement filing system, ensuring all purchase orders, supplier contracts, and communication are stored accurately and can be easily retrieved for audits or reports. Review and verify the accuracy of procurement documents before submission for approval to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Ensure Timely Delivery of Goods and Services:

Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any discrepancies related to orders.

Inventory and Stock Level Management:

Regularly assess inventory levels to ensure stock is sufficient for operational needs and reorder items before stock runs low.

Requirements:



Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative roles in the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of ERP systems, procurement software and MS Office.

Knowledge:

General Business Administration Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems Procurement Processes & Procedures Documentation & Reporting Standards

Skills:

Typing Speed: 40-50 WPM Request for Quotation (RFQ) Handling (Entry Level) Communication skills, both verbally and in writing, at a

high level

. Proficient at reviewing documents

Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement requests simultaneously Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, suppliers, and management at all organizational levels Proven ability to review procurement documents (e.g., purchase orders, invoices) meticulously to prevent errors, ensuring compliance and avoiding discrepancies.
