Job Title: Process Supervisor
Department: Operations
Reports To: Operational ManagerLocation: StellenboschSalary: R8000.00 R10 000.00 (Depending on experience) Day/Night shiftsPosition SummaryOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Process Supervisor to oversee and participate in activities related to the manufacture, purification, and concentration of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The ideal candidate will also contribute to the operation and maintenance of utility systems and other facility equipment.Working Environment

• Operations are primarily conducted in WIP 1 and 2 areas and utility sections. Key equipment includes:
• CH Mixing and Feed System
• Reactor Systems (2)
• Filtration System
• Evaporator
• Holding Tanks, Piping, and Pumps

Utilities include:

• Water Purification and Reticulation
• Air Handling Unit
• Steam Generation
• Compressed Air System
• Standby Electricity System
• Additional tasks may be performed throughout production facilities and amenities.

Minimum RequirementsEducation:

• Grade 12 / Matric

Experience:

• Previous experience in general maintenance of equipment and facilities is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and tanks for raw API manufacturing, including cleaning and inspections.
• Assist with operating and monitoring reactor systems during night shift production runs.
• Monitor and operate filtration and concentration systems, and complete required documentation accurately.
• Conduct CIP, cleaning, housekeeping, and system maintenance, ensuring proper documentation.
• Operate and monitor the Water Purification Plant and Air Handling Unit.
• Support the Maintenance Technician in upkeep of all equipment, utilities, and buildings.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department and factory as per procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the company.
• Support and comply with Food and Product Safety Systems.
