Process Engineer (Engineering) - East LondonJob SummaryOur client in the Engineering Industry is looking to hire a Process Engineer.Duties and Responsibilitieso Ensure adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.o Ensure compliance with organisational and legislation safety requirements by maintaining appropriate practices, standards, and procedures.o Support the Business unit manager with the optimisation and improvement of processes.o Identify new methods to improve the technical processes.o Keep up to date with modern developments w.r.t. processes employed at BELCO.o Ensure alignment of all processes.o Ensure that all required procedures and systems to monitor, manage and control the performance standards and targets of the production sections are implemented.o Provide support to the operations by managing various practical tasks and projects.o Be responsible for fault finding and troubleshooting.o Be responsible for sampling integrity.o Ensure effective administration of the relevant systems.o Compile and submit relevant metallurgical reports as and when required.o Ensure that proper change management standards are followed.o Develop and maintain relevant policies and procedures. Ensure implementation accordingly.o Develop and maintain process control plans FMEAs and process manuals.o Monitor the raw material usage.o Continuously seek cost saving initiatives.o Track the success of solutions that are implemented.o Be responsible for the development and optimisation of production strategies.o Investigate systems for improving efficiency and safety.o Control and attend to system non-conformances.o Perform all duties instructed/required by supervisor/manager, who might not be related to job functions - if it is safe to do so.o Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations.o Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained.Requirementso Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.o Three (3) years' experience in operations/production is preferable.o Valid driver's license and own transport.o Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).o Supervisory/leadership training.Send your CV and latest pay slip to recb@aaaa.co.zaATripleA Recruitment and Tempswww.aaaa.co.za#ATripleA #recruitment #vacancy # Process# Engineer
