The Private Chef will be responsible for preparing daily lunches and dinners for the family, with a strong focus on healthy, fresh, and uncomplicated meals. Lunches are typically light and nutritious (salads, roast vegetables, chicken), while dinners are served at 19:00 and may include hosting for guests and larger family events.
Working hours generally begin at 11:00 with grocery shopping completed prior to service. Dinner service concludes by 21:00, after which the chef may leave. No breakfast service is required.
The role includes full responsibility for food and beverage stock control across multiple fridges and a storeroom, ensuring FIFO principles are followed and all items are labelled and dated. The chef will manage food, drinks, and catering budgets using company cards, with full receipt reconciliation required.
You will also be responsible for ordering beverages, maintaining pantry and fridge organisation, and coordinating catering for events when required. Travel with the family may occasionally be required during holidays.
