Role Overview

:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printer Technician to join our dynamic field service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Lexmark, Develop and Canon printers at client sites. This is a mobile role requiring travel to various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

:

Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Lexmark, Canon, Develop, and HP printers. Install and configure new printing equipment and ensure proper network integration. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to printing systems. Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports. Provide exceptional customer service and technical support. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Educational Qualifications

:

High School Diploma or Equivalent:

High school education

Technical Certifications:

Candidates with certifications in printer repair and maintenance, such as those offered by HP, Canon, Develop and CompTIA's PDI+. in electronics, computers, or a related field can be beneficial.

Skills and Experience

:

Hardware and Software Knowledge:

A strong understanding of printer hardware, including various printing technologies and printer software is essential.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues is a core skill.

Customer Service:

Printer technicians often interact with users, so good communication and customer service skills are important.

Time Management and Organization:

Managing workload and prioritizing tasks is crucial.

Basic Networking:

Knowledge of basic networking concepts can be helpful for troubleshooting network printer issues.

Physical Stamina:

Some positions may require lifting and moving heavy equipment.

Valid Driver's License:

Must have a valid driver's license.
