Job Description
A great private combined school in Tembisa is seeking a Head of Primary to join their leadership team.
The principal should promote and uphold the high academic achievement of its learners and actively foster the importance of all sports, arts and culture in the school.
Reporting to the Executive Head
Managerial and organisational skills
Knowledge of and experience in managing school resources
Sound knowledge of the SA Schools Act , policies and procedures
Ability to work well under pressure
Leadership
Involvement in school governance structures, school strategic planning and support towards fostering a cultural diversity with respect to gender/race and culture
Human Resource Development and Management
Experience regarding the recruitment and selection, conflict management and development of staff
Experience as a Principal or Deputy will count in your favour
Requirements
BEd or PGCE
SACE registered
5 years plus in a leadership position within a primary school environment
Experience within a large school environment
