Requirements



A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in any Built Environment

Discipline e.g. Architecture/ Civil Engineering/Quantity



Surveying/Building Management/Building Science.



5 - 8 years' relevant experience Knowledge and implementation of the NBR and SANS Code

regulations and requirements.



A valid Code B drivers' licence Computer Literacy - SAP/DAMS or similar /MS Office Suite

Key Performance Areas



Examination and processing of building plan applications including

more complex/demanding applications.



Provide all required advice and information to relevant role players

in the building plan submission and decision-making chain.



Process the assessment of building plans, minor work applications,

and permits in accordance with the applicable legislation.



Engagement and communication with internal and external

departments and stakeholders.



Interpret constantly changing industry technology, best practices,

construction materials, standards and regulations
