Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client, a great mining company in Gauteng, is currently looking for a skilled Principal Energy to join their mining team. :

• Bachelor's Degree Business, Commerce, Finance, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in developing commercial strategies and leading strategic negotiations, financial modelling,

strong understanding of energy and carbon markets, stakeholder influence; * Minimum 5 years in a Commercial/ Supply environment with a background in Energy (electricity, gas);

• Carbon Sourcing / Markets experience is advantageous;
• Demonstrate a track record of crafting and implementing transformative commercial strategies, with

the ability to navigate and communicate complex energy landscapes; * Bring a deep commercial and regulatory understanding of energy markets, energy regulation, energy
and carbon market trends and decarbonisation options, enriched by experience within Africa; * Shape and drive critical negotiations, balancing commercial goals and operational requirements.;

• Connect and collaborate across all levels of business and the external market with genuine

authenticity.
