Ayanda Works on behalf of their client -is recruiting a seasoned
Cyber Security Lead (10-15 yrs experience)
to spearhead advanced security initiatives across mobile, fixed, satellite, cloud, and IoT networks--starting with enterprise environments across Group markets.This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who thrives in complex network ecosystems and leads with clarity, compliance, and impact.
What You'll Own:
Design and implement advanced cyber security controls across enterprise CPE, core networks, NMS, and office connectivity Drive compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls across multi-country operations Lead risk assessments, enhance monitoring (SIEM, NetFlow), and embed sustainable security processes Collaborate across teams to ensure resilience, visibility, and assurance in evolving threat landscapes Mentor cross-functional teams and manage large-scale security implementations
Ideal Candidate:
10-15 years in enterprise/IP network security Deep expertise in cyber risk frameworks and compliance Proven leadership in telco or large-scale enterprise environments Strong technical knowledge of monitoring tools and network architecture Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager Holds relevant IT degree and certifications (ISO 27001 Lead, CISM, CISSP, CCSP preferred)

Duration: 12 months Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Midrand, 2 days remote) Rate: Open to negotiation Start: ASAP
