Job Description

To ensure that all members of the public are attended to and directed to the appropriate
staff / section who can assist in reaching a satisfactory resolution to their electronic and
informational queries.
Key Responsibility Areas

  • Provides a front line service to the Public regarding the utilisation of library
computers.
  • Provides assistance to users in relation to research techniques, logon and
printing procedures.
  • Performs routine administrative duties of the Library.
  • Participates in the safety and security of the Library Premises and Information in
accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Participates in the training and tutoring of staff.
