We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Pretoria
Role: Principal Civil Engineer (Project Leader/Contracts Engineer)
Industry: Transportation Engineering
Level: Senior Management
Key Requirements:

  • B.Eng degree with preferably a post graduate qualification
  • Professional registration: Pr.Eng with ECSA (essential requirement)
  • Minimum 15 years management, technical and practical experience
  • Specialist knowledge in transportation engineering fundamentals
  • Proven expertise in local and international standards and regulatory requirements
  • Extensive technical skills in transportation, project management and business development
  • Experience in roads, storm water, bridges and multidisciplinary projects
  • Contract management experience including legal aspects
  • Tender documentation and adjudication process experience
Personal Attributes:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Mentoring and coaching abilities for junior team members
