Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors for the following subjects:
Mathematics (Primary & High School)
Tutors will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective tutoring sessions to students in primary and high school. The ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions. Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student. Assist students with revision, homework, and all test preparation as required. Monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment. Stay updated with the latest curriculum changes and educational best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant subject area or education (or current enrollment in such a program). Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics. Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed. Reliable internet connection and proficiency with online teaching tools (for remote positions where needed).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R180,00 - R250,00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
Experience:
Tutoring, teaching: 2 years (Preferred)
Expected Start Date: 2025/07/21
