Job Description

Job Purpose

Focus on analyzing costs, customer contracts, and market data to develop accurate and competitive pricing models for inflight catering services and related offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and an understanding of the operational complexity of airline services.

Principal Accountabilities

Develop and maintain pricing models for airline catering services, including meals, logistics, handling, and ancillary services. Analyze cost structures (food, labor, logistics, packaging, etc.) to support accurate and profitable pricing proposals. Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to prepare pricing for tenders, contract renewals, and ad-hoc airline requests. Monitor customer contracts to ensure pricing aligns with agreed service levels and margins. Track competitor pricing and industry trends to support strategic decision-making. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing justifications for customer presentations or audits. Support regional or global pricing alignment initiatives across multiple airline accounts. Ensure compliance with internal pricing governance and margin targets. Identify pricing inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong financial and analytical acumen; able to work with large data sets and cost models. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling); familiarity with pricing or ERP systems is a plus. Good understanding of margin analysis, cost-plus pricing, and volume-based pricing models.
