A well-established logistics provider with both local and international reach is looking for a skilled Pricing Specialist to join their team. The company offers comprehensive solutions across air, sea, road, and project freight, and has a strong footprint in Southern Africa and beyond.
We're looking for a Pricing Specialist to take ownership of pricing strategies across various transport modes. This role combines market analysis, costing, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure competitive, profitable pricing solutions that align with the business's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tender submissions, RFQs, and project pricing.
• Prepare accurate quotations for multi-modal transport: air, sea, road, and cross-border shipments.
• Build strong working relationships with transporters, shipping lines, and service providers.
• Conduct regular rate negotiations and maintain updated service agreements.
• Keep clients informed of pricing changes and market shifts.
• Update and streamline vendor procurement processes.
• Oversee import, export, and cross-trade shipments, including invoicing support.
• Act as the key contact for client pricing queries.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5-7 years' experience in pricing within the logistics or freight forwarding sector.
• Exposure to all transport modes, including breakbulk.
• Sound knowledge of Incoterms.
