Job Description

We are seeking a kind and patient preschool teacher who has a love for children and a passion for teaching. We offer a safe, warm and loving environment for the children with a home-away-from-home feel and a high level of respect for our children. Candidate must please live in Johannesburg South area.

Requirements:

Fully qualified teacher (minimum NQF 5 complete and studying further) Formal experience in a preschool environment High command of the English language -written and spoken Computer literate Clear criminal record Reside close to the school SACE registered (preferred) First Aid certification (preferred) Vaccination certificate (preferred)
Responsibilities:

Teach and care for all children in your class in a holistic; play-based manner, with awareness of each individual child and their needs. Ensure a safe; hygienic and educational environment for the children at all times Be flexible to teach children of different age groups Mentor and manage a class assistant Complete regular teaching preparations and child assessments Regularly engage with parents regarding their children Provide termly reports and parent meetings Work with a team and handle conflict in a mature; solution-based manner Commit to continuous professional development and take suggestions for the improvement of teaching methods. Partake enthusiastically in school events and the improvement and growth of the school Further unmentioned duties
