St Cyprian's School is seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated

Classroom Assistant

to join our vibrant Pre-Primary team from

January 2026.

We're looking for someone who delights in the wonder of early childhood -- a caring presence who can nurture curiosity, encourage independence, and support the class teacher in creating a joyful and stimulating learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

A relevant ECD qualification (or currently studying towards one). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for learning through play and holistic early childhood development.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

Have a genuine love for working with young children. Be patient, kind and attentive to each child's social, emotional and developmental needs. Assist the teacher in preparing and maintaining a safe, creative and engaging classroom -- indoors and outdoors. Bring energy, initiative and a spirit of teamwork to daily activities, routines, and creative play. Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude. * Have prior experience in an early childhood setting.
