Minimum Qualifications

At least a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Management, Human Resources Management or related field, and;
3.
At least five years experience as an Office Manager / Practice Manager or similar position, preferably in a legal environment.
4.
Sound knowledge of MS Office (i.e MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
5.
Good understanding and application of legislations (LPC regulations, BCEA, LRA, and EE Act among others).
6.
Must have strong task management skills to ensure priorities are met efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
7.
Handling day-to-day operational aspects of the firm, such as office management, facilities and technologies, and ensuring that the firm has the necessary resources and infrastructure to support its legal work.

Overseeing administrative staff members.
9.
Maintaining and enhancing client relationships. This may involve managing client communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring that clients receive high-quality legal services.

The incumbent will also be responsible for all HR responsibilities, including but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, performance evaluation for legal staff and support staff, as well as overseeing training and professional development programs.

He or she will also be responsible for data management, information security and risk management, including identifying and mitigating potential risks to the firm.
12.
Making sure that the firm complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This includes overseeing compliance with legal industry regulations and codes of conduct.
13.
The Practice Manager will also be involved in marketing and business development efforts in order to attract new clients and grow the firm's client base.
14.
Joining the firm's leadership in developing and implementing strategic plans for the practice. This includes setting goals, identifying growth opportunities, and developing business strategies.
15.
Overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the firm, including budgeting, financial reporting and financial control processes.
