Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct valuations, variations, and final account settlements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and budget.
- Lead procurement processes and assess contractor claims and progress payments.
- Provide strategic cost advice to ensure value engineering and financial efficiency.
- BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- PrQS registration with SACQSP (essential).
- Minimum [5+] years' post-registration experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., WinQS, CostX, or similar).
