Job Description
RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable civil engineering consulting firm in South Africa urgently requires an experienced Bridge Resident Engineer for a major road infrastructure project based in Durban. The appointment is for 19 months and may be extended. This is an urgent opportunity to be involved in a significant infrastructure development within the province.
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng or BTech/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng (essential)
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in construction supervision
- Proven experience in major bridge structures and large culvert construction
- Strong site supervision, coordination, and compliance capabilities
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
