Job Description
We have a tremendous on-site opportunity for a passionate PR Account Executive at a highly respected and established PR agency in Cape Town working on a portfolio of blue-chip corporate accounts.
You will be tasked with assisting with day-to-day account management, which includes status reporting, tracking coverage, creating media lists, media follow-ups, briefing documents, scheduling interviews and client meetings, compiling monthly and quarterly campaign reports, etc.
We're looking for an energetic and invested candidate with a solid understanding of traditional, as well as writing skills.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Industry relevant qualification
- 1+ years of agency experience - essential
- Understands PR and the agency world (billing/hours, media contacts and working as a team, briefing suppliers and deadlines etc.)
- Understand the world of media relations. Have great connections on speed dial. You can pick up the phone, SMS, and WhatsApp to pitch stories.
- Strategically minded
- Ability to manage client status meetings (if and when needed)
- Energy and attitude are everything
- Great writing skills
- Fast-paced individual
- Love teamwork.
