WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

: The

Test PQ Boilermaker Intern

will be in the role of assisting the team with analysing drawings and specifications, weld and fabricate metal components. The role of the intern will also be to ensure that all equipment satisfies safety and quality requirements and assist with new installations and system maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Confirm material list and drawing status. + Cut and prepare new material.
+ Assemble and weld components.
+ Assemble models and structures.
+ Manufacture and install accessories needed to integrate system.
+ Report non-conformances.
+ Provide input for drawing non-conformances
+ Any task within the ability of the employee such as maintenance and repair of engineering machinery and equipment.
+ Erections of fabricated structures during installations
+ Co-operate and participate in she functions.
+ Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
+ Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

+ National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. + Qualified Boilermaker possessing Valid Trade Test Certificate.
+ Computer Literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
+ Attention to detail, planning and organizing.
+ Excellent communication.
+ Resourceful and display initiative to carry out any task with professional attitude and manner.
+ Must be willing to work in close proximity of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
+ Must be willing to do some work at testing facilities/test range and to work overtime.
+ Valid driver's license.
