Summary
A company based in Samrand is looking for a PowerApps Developer with strong PowerBI. This role is in a consulting role where you will be placed on client sites on a hybrid model approved by the client.
Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Dashboard and Report Development

• Develop interactive, business-aligned Power BI dashboards and reports based on defined KPIs and stakeholder requirements.
• Ensure consistency, usability, and clarity across all reporting deliverables.

2. Data Modelling and Transformation

• Utilise Power Query and DAX to cleanse, transform, and model data effectively.
• Optimise data structures to ensure performance efficiency and scalability.

3. Excel-Based Reporting and Analysis

• Conduct ad hoc data analysis using Excel when necessary.
• Validate and integrate Excel-based outputs with Power BI reports to maintain data integrity.

4. Data Integration and Automation

• Connect and integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, Smartsheet, and APIs.
• Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline data refreshes and business processes.
• Develop PowerApps to create user-friendly, mobile-ready business applications that integrate with Power BI and other systems.

5. Stakeholder Engagement and Support

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical reporting and app-based solutions.
• Provide training and ongoing support to stakeholders on Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate usage and interpretation.

6. Governance and Quality Assurance

• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and documentation.
• Follow governance best practices and troubleshoot reporting or application issues promptly.
• Contribute to building a strong foundation for self-service analytics, process automation, and data-driven culture.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300). Certifications in Power Platform tools are a plus.

Experience and Competencies

• 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development and data modeling.
• Proficient in Power Query and Power BI Service.
• Experience with Excel-based reporting and data analysis.
• Experience developing business applications using PowerApps and automating workflows with Power Automate.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into effective, data-driven and process-efficient solutions.

Technical Skills

• Power BI: Reports, dashboards, dataflows, Power BI Service
• Power Platform: PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows)
• Excel: Advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query
• SQL: Writing efficient queries and understanding relational database structures
• Data Integration: Experience connecting to and working with various data sources (cloud and on-premises), including APIs
