Call Center Agent: Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)
We are seeking a patient-focused Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join a growing healthcare team in Pretoria East. This role involves providing telephonic support to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible guidance in managing their medication and adherence to prescribed therapies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification (essential).
- Previous call center experience (advantageous, but not required).
- Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Computer literacy and experience with patient management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines and drug safety.
- Conduct telephonic consultations with patients to monitor drug utilization and adherence.
- Provide accurate, clear, and empathetic information to patients.
- Record and report any adverse drug reactions or medication-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Keep patient records accurate and up to date.
