Position: General Worker - Junior Driver (Valid Code 8 driver's license only (essential).

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Physically fit role requiring the lifting and carrying of heavy boxes when needed. Renewal of vehicle licenses, postage, banking, parcel collections, and internal mail deliveries. Provide consistent, professional customer service at all times. Maintain accurate records by completing a daily logbook. Obey all traffic laws and immediately report any incidents or transgressions to management. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical or maintenance issues. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and well maintained. Ad hoc duties, including assisting in the workshop during quiet periods.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12 Valid Code 8 driver's license only (essential). Minimum of 3 years' driving experience with an excellent driving record Ability to follow verbal instructions, read maps, and use GPS navigation Able to work independently with minimal supervision Flexible and adaptable to changing routes or schedules Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and presentable Good health and physically fit (lifting assistance may be required) No criminal record

Additional Information

Ability to reliably commute to Pretoria, Gauteng, or plan to relocate before commencement of employment (required). Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only.
