Join Our Dynamic Medical Practice

Dr Marinus Appelgryn-Siebert Inc. is seeking a dedicated and qualified General Medical Practitioner or Clinical Associate to join our established medical practice in the beautiful coastal town of Langebaan, Western Cape. Key Requirements:

Essential Qualifications & Registration:

- Current and valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Practice Medical Practitioner or Clinical Associate

- Up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance - minimum 30 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) per 12-month period, including ethics requirements

- Active and comprehensive medicolegal insurance/professional indemnity cover

Language Proficiency:

- Fluency in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)

Additional Qualifications:

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Essential requirement

- PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) - Highly advantageous

- ITLS/ATLS (International Trauma Life Support/Advanced Trauma Life Support) - Highly advantageous

- Dispensing License - Essential requirement (not applicable to Clinical Associates)

Professional Experience:

- Minimum 2 years post-community service experience preferred, but not essential

- Experience in general medical practice preferred

- Ability to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive general medical services to patients of all ages

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with HPCSA guidelines

- Participate in emergency and after-hours care as required

- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals

- Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and legal requirements

- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice
