Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with accounting standards and industry-specific requirements.
Manage property-related accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate transaction recording and reconciliation across multiple entities.
Oversee tenant billing, collections, and recoveries, maintaining up-to-date and compliant debtor books.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for each property in the portfolio.
Assist with external and internal audits, ensuring full compliance with financial and regulatory obligations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT submissions, and statutory filings.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CIMA or a similar professional qualification (or in progress) is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial accounting or portfolio management, ideally within the property or real estate sector.
Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP, with a working knowledge of property management systems (e.g., MDA, MRI, or similar).
High attention to detail, strong reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage multiple property accounts effectively.
