Job Description

A Retail Shop Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This includes tasks like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash, as well as assisting with deliveries, stock maintenance, and some customer service. General Cleaning:

Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Restroom Maintenance:

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.

Trash Removal:

Emptying trash cans and ensuring proper waste disposal.

Surface Cleaning:

Dusting and wiping down shelves, counters, and other surfaces.

Exterior Maintenance:

May include sweeping sidewalks, picking up litter, and ensuring the overall appearance of the store's exterior.
Stock and Deliveries:

Assisting with Deliveries:

Receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries of merchandise.
