Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Plumbing Manager to lead our plumbing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise plumbing teams and subcontractors. Oversee all plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues. Ensure all work complies with SANS regulations and company standards. Schedule jobs, allocate resources, and monitor progress. Maintain customer relationships and provide professional communication on all job statuses. Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures. Manage stock, tools, and equipment. Prepare job reports, quotations, and documentation as required. Train and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
Requirements

Qualified plumber with trade test / PIRB registration (advantageous). Minimum 5+ years plumbing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems. Valid driver's licence. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage teams, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results. Strong organisational and project-management skills.
