Minimum Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Minimum: Grade 12 Basic plumbing-related training or technical certification (advantageous)

Experience

0-1 years of hands-on plumbing experience (internship, apprenticeship, or site exposure preferred) Exposure to maintenance, repairs, or installations in domestic or commercial environments advantageous

Technical Skills

Familiarity with hand and power tools used in plumbing Basic understanding of plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, fixtures) Willingness to learn and work under supervision on: Pipe installations and repairs Blockage clearing and drain cleaning Leak detection and minor fault finding

Soft Skills & Work Ethic

Strong work ethic, reliable, and punctual Physically fit and capable of manual labor Problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship Able to work independently and in a team under supervision

Compliance & Safety

Knowledge of basic Health & Safety procedures (advantageous) Must be willing to wear PPE and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Administrative & Communication Skills

Able to read job cards and complete basic reports (digital or manual) Clear verbal communication Mobile phone literacy (for clocking in/out or job app usage)
