Job Summary Hire Resolve is in search of an adept PLC Programmer to join our client's team situated in Durban.
The individual for this position will lead the charge in designing and developing software across varied platforms. With a focus on fostering teamwork, transparency, and accountability, the ideal candidate will embody these principles in all aspects of their role.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PLC programs tailored to meet customer specifications.
• Create hardware concept designs before proceeding with implementation.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive automation solutions.
• Oversee commissioning processes, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of PLC programming projects.
• Offer technical assistance to clients during installation and commissioning phases.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and trends in PLC programming.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols.
• Follow directives provided by the Automation Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Possession of a National Diploma and/or N3 in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Automotive and Engineering Industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
• Essential experience in PLC programming with Mitsubishi; familiarity with Toyopuc is considered advantageous.
• Strong aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team setting.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
