The incumbent in this role is responsible for ensuring that incoming coal is tipped safely, correctly and onto the specific demarcated stockpile areas and to ensure rapped and safe loading of trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day stockpile, weighbridge and road logistics activities.
Ensure that timeous submission of road intents and loading of trucks are in accordance with the frequency rate standard conditions and product destination.
Monitoring road logistics and ensuring we receive all scheduled trucks.
Executing the daily plan against the schedule.
Monitoring and managing truck-handling times and preventing trucks queuing at the various loading sites.
Conducting daily coal inspections, ensuring procedures are adhered to and area of responsibility is well maintained.
Ensuring subordinates are equipped and knowledgeable of truck and loading procedures.
Adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Grade 12.
Advance Lump Ore Beneficiation Certificate
Driverxe2x80x99s license (Code EB/08).
Minimum Experience
3 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Plant Operator or completed Graduate Development Programme.
Stockyard and logistics experience will be advantageous.
