Plant Superintendent – Limpopo
Job Description
Our client, a leading mining group, is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent to take charge of their chrome processing operations in Limpopo. This is a key leadership role ensuring safe, efficient, and optimised plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily plant operations to achieve production, recovery, and quality targets.
Monitor performance, drive process improvements, and minimise downtime.
Coordinate maintenance schedules and support reliability initiatives.
Lead and mentor supervisors, operators, and support staff.
Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and promote a zero-harm culture.
Deliver accurate operational, production, and performance reporting.
Requirements:
Degree / National Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
7-10 years' mineral processing / metallurgical experience (chrome/ferroalloy advantage).
3-5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
Strong technical knowledge of plant operations, recovery systems, and optimisation.
Proven leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
