Job Description
The Plant Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all operational activities within the Avedia Energy LPG Storage Terminal. The role reports directly to the Plant Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate shall be responsible for the safe operation of the following activities:
Perform safe daily bulk LPG operational activities, including loading and offloading of trucks/ bulk vessels..
Conduct cylinder filling, cylinder handling and storage operations in accordance with safety standards.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements in the plant.
Deliver timely and efficient customer service to optimize plant performance.
Assist with required maintenance of plant equipment.
Perform plant control room operations, including plant start up and shut down as well as operating the bulk control system and managing documentation as per company procedures.
Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors
Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is mandatory
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
At least 1 year of work experience (experience in LPG or related industry will be an advantage)
