Job Description

Prepare batch start-up, ensuring plant section safety and proper documentation. Manufacture blends in blenders and reaction batches in reactors. Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Communicate accurate information to Team Leaders and Laboratory personnel. Safely isolate plant and equipment during maintenance following relevant procedures. Stencil polycans and label all packaging containers. Load and offload tankers. Transfer products to and from storage tanks. Monitor effluent levels. Manage and separate waste materials. Operate a forklift and hoist. Conduct risk assessments. Ensure compliance with all safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 Chemical Operations NQF 3 Forklift licence 3 years' experience in a chemical plant Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces. * Must be able to work shifts.
