A client of ours within the Engineering sector is looking for a Plant Manager with Rock Phosphate Treatment Plant to join their company is Mauritania, Nort West Africa.POSITION INFO:

Mauritania, Nort West Africa.Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Mining
• 10 years of experience in industrial plant operations, with atleast 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role within the mining, mineral processing, or related industries.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the installation phase of the plant, ensuring proper setup and commissioning of equipment and infrastructure
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance plant efficiency and productivity
• Oversee the treatment and processing of rock phosphate, ensuring compliance with quality standards and industry regulations
• Prepare and manage the plantxe2x80x99s annual budget in coordination with relevant departments
• Supervise maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, to ensure continuous plant operation
• Ensure the proper utilization of equipment and resources to optimize production processes
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with legal and company requirements
• Lead and coordinate with various departments, including maintenance, production, quality control, and

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials, spare parts, and other essential supplies

• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of plant personnel
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, technological upgrades, and cost reduction initiatives
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and government agencies to ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Prepare and submit regular technical and financial reports to senior management
• Address and resolve operational challenges, ensuring timely decision-making to maintain plant productivity
