Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Manager to oversee the operations of our clients manufacturing plant. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of their products while maintaining high quality standards. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of production staff, implement and enforce safety and quality control measures, and oversee inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant operations and ensure production goals are met
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand
- Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Manage plant budget and expenses effectively
- Optimize plant layout and workflow to maximize productivity
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or similar role in the Plastics/Packaging/Recycling industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in budget management and cost control
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
