Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleaning and maintenance of reservoir terrain, including guest house and chlorine room. Assist with executing winter maintenance program tasks. Painting and minor maintenance work as and when required. Follow the correct procedure for opening and closing valves. Ensure the correct capturing of meter readings. Ensure correct interpretation of meter readings. To perform standby duty as and when required. Perform all as directed from time to time. Observe Health and Safety protocols and procedures. Comply with policy on leave, overtime, and attendance registers submissions. Cleaning Pump stations and other outside stations. Testing free chlorine in treated water. Mixing lime and other chemicals as and when required. Housekeeping.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 Minimum of 1 years' experience in the water treatment field Valid Drivers' License * Problem solving
