Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing construction programs for multiple projects -- ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
This role requires a proactive and analytical professional with strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills. The Planner plays a critical role in linking project management, estimating, and site execution teams to drive project success in a high-pressure environment.
Key Performance Area
Prepare and maintain detailed construction programs at tender and execution stages.
Assess and cost P&G requirements relative to project complexity and duration.
Monitor progress and prepare monthly updates to ensure schedules remain realistic and achievable.
Identify and analyze delays, prepare Extension of Time (EOT) programs, and support claims.
Administer and baseline project schedules, ensuring compliance with planning methodologies.
Collaborate with Contracts Directors and Contracts Managers, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Teams to ensure project alignment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Academic Qualification
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Planning software (Candy, MS Projects).
Advances skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and data analysis.
Years of Experience
Minimum 10+ years' technical experience in construction planning and scheduling.
