Description:
To monitor, analyse, interpret, and mine all sources of relevant data to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business needs around the category and identify ideal profiles for stores, suppliers, and ranges
To identify opportunities/issues in order to and generate effective solutions to achieve budgeted sales, stock, and margins aimed at optimising the financial results of the category
To manage the end-to-end supply chain process regarding category - from forecasting of sales, profit, and stock to management of margins, sales, stock, ranges, suppliers
To participate in supplier performance reviews and influence appropriate action to ensure that set supplier KPIs are achieved
To play a leading role in managing and implementing initiatives at functional level and ensuring effective performance within the support team
To build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and connect people to enable delivery of the strategy

Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience of planning within a high complexity/large category environment (essential);
Experience gained in the FMCG industry (desirable);
Experience in a people influencing/leadership (desirable)
