Job Summary Description:

  • Prepare and manage pizza dough daily according to Neapolitan-style methods.
  • Hand-stretch dough to achieve the desired thin, soft, and airy crust.
  • Operate and maintain wood-fired or high-temperature pizza ovens.
  • Prepare fresh sauces, toppings, and ingredients while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
  • Assist in inventory control and ordering of supplies.
  • Uphold kitchen standards, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output during peak service times.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, specifically in Neapolitan-style pizza making.
  • Skilled in hand-stretching dough and working with high-hydration doughs.
  • Experience operating wood-fired or stone pizza ovens.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian pizza-making traditions and ingredients.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Commitment to quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
